Different Camera Equipment Has Different Effects for Business Photos

In your personal life, you likely have at least two pieces of electronic equipment capable of taking pictures. You may even use both of them. For example, you may use your cell phone to take a quick picture of your children or grandchildren at the park, and you may use your camera to take a picture for your family holiday card. Both pieces of equipment have important roles in how you document and share your family. Likewise, both pieces of equipment may have an important role in how you showcase your business.

Different Purposes for Different Pieces of Equipment

Generally, your:

  • Cell phone or tablet will be appropriate for casual photos that you quickly upload to social media sites.
  • Camera will be appropriate for more formal pictures or pictures that you intend to use on your website or in print.

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and there may be times when you change which equipment you use for a certain purpose.

I only use my iphone for every vanity or photos for social media but when I travel, I use both my iphone and a compact camera. I don't like DSLRs because they are so heavy.
